I'm considering using this for shock treatment this summer instead of the granular I've been using in past years. Is it just broadcast into the pool? Does anyone have any experience with this stuff and do you like it?

Oxy-Brite or Non-Chlorine shock is great stuff. It is more expensive than chlorine though, we sell a 50# bucket of it for $195. If your pool is commercial or semi-private and gets a lot of use then oxy-brite is the way to go for sure as it does not raise the chlorine levels to achieve breakpoint (the point at which used chlorine is removed from the pool water). It's the only way to go in a spa or hot tub!
